If you’d lost your dear son for 24 years, and what you say to him when you finally met him is “You’re a man. Don’t cry.”, you might as well kill him. I mean, you’ve officially murdered him emotionally and mentally. Seriously, why can you just let him cry? He’s a human and crying is part of humane experience. Don’t tell your son such a nonsensical command or else you’ll find him cold-blooded, ignorant, self-denying and heartless in the future.
I get super emotional when I read news about Sun Bin who got kidnapped in 1991 when he was 4 years old. He was human-trafficked later on and sold to a family far away from his home. The father of course said he was “happy and grateful but also bitter”, wrote CNN further.
Poor Sun Bin…
Being able to cry for men means a lot. As quoted from Cosmopolitan, a man who cries is “a well-balanced man who is secure enough in his masculinity to be emotional. He is likely to be a good communicator and has no problem letting you know how he feels, either with words or displays of affection.” (Image credit: CNN)
I second you, man should be allowed to cry!
